We are saddened to announce the passing of Marlene Ann Titley on Feb 22nd 2026 at 8:45pm, in Hamilton Ontario at the age of 61.

Marlene grew up with seven siblings, where she learned early the value of family, laughter, and togetherness. While in Toronto, she met Walt, and the two quickly became high school sweethearts. Their young love grew into a remarkable partnership that spanned 45 devoted years.

Together, Marlene and Walt built a life rooted in love and commitment. They eventually settled in Hamilton, where they raised their two children and created a warm, welcoming home. Over the years, they formed a wide and cherished circle of friends, touching many lives with their kindness and generosity.

Marlene lit up every room she entered, whether at work or at home. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, always bringing a smile to others’ faces through her honest conversations and unforgettable stories. Her warmth and authenticity drew people in, and her laughter was truly contagious.

Marlene had a special love for dolphins, whose grace and playfulness seemed to mirror her own vibrant spirit. She was also a devoted fan of “The King,” Elvis Presley, and found joy in his music throughout her life.

Marlene is survived by her husband Walter Marchment, her two children Pamela and Scott, her grandchildren, Noah, Jordin, Cheyenne, Jacob, Kaylee, Her brother Rob, and her sister Margaret as well as many other loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marlene is now with her mother Margaret, her brothers Bill, Duck, Al, Dave and her sister Darlene.

We will have a celebration of life in the summer for Marlene and will announce those details in late spring.
