Sporcic, Maria (Nee Kreiter)

Suddenly, on the morning of Friday April 25 th, 2025, Maria passed away following a tragic accident at home. She was 79 years old.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Suzanne and Michelle; and missed by the family cats; Sasha and Dahlia. Predeceased by her mother Barbara (1991) and her beloved fur babies Meeka (2008); Nemo & Moses (2020); and Jack (2023).

Maria was born and raised in Moosberg Germany; she immigrated to Canada at the age of 18. Maria was a dedicated employee of Woolworth/Woolco/Walmart for over 30 yrs; she also held part-time jobs at St. Peter’s-Chedoke Site, and Time Horton’s at Upper Wentworth, as well.

Upon her retirement in 2020; Maria focused her attention on her children and the family cats. She developed a love of Netflix and enjoyed watching crime shows and game shows on TV.

Memorial visitation will be held at Affordable Burial and Cremation DATE AND TIME TO BE ANNOUCED.
