Sibley, Margaret (nee Davie), daughter of George and Isabella, a lifelong Hamilton Ticats fan has passed peacefully at the age of 88. 

She leaves behind a sister Isobel (Norm) and two brothers Bob (Pearl) & Bill (Joan). 

She was the mother of three Karen (Ron), Wendy (Brad) & Jim(Dale)Grandmother to five Jacqueline, Amanda, Kylie, Stacey & Jenna and Great Grandmother to nine Austin, Ethan, Lexy, Damien, Aisak, Landon, Bailee, Isla, & Carson. 

She worked at McDonald’s (Gage Park and Barton & Lottridge)for over ten years and volunteered for many years at 30 Sanford on the senior peers and ensuring the other residents were safe and sound with the Seniors Watch and received the volunteer of the year award in 2015. She loved bowling in the ladies 5 pin bowling league. 

The family would like to thank all the staff at Arbour Creek Care Home for the wonderful care they have provided. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Stoney Creek Legion Branch 622 

12 King Street East on Saturday 

January 10 2026 from 1-4pm. 

Parking is available in the rear.
