Margaret Cybalski

April 16, 1926 - January 6, 2023

Sadly, Margaret Cybalski (Moncy) passed away at age 96 on Friday, January 6, 2023, with her caregiver, son David, holding her hand for her last goodbye after several years of living with dementia. She died at St. Joseph's Hospital after being admitted for what appeared to be a urinary tract infection but ended up with a heart attack and bleeding out from too much blood thinner.

Margaret (Moncy) was a very kind, generous, loving, and unselfish mother and grandmother to both her sons, Ron (Barbara) and David, and to her grandchildren, Ron Jr. (Jenn), Dennis, and Judson. Margaret (Moncy), like her loving predeceased husband Alexander (Alex) of 71 years, dedicated her life to her family unconditionally. She was also close to her only surviving sibling, Irene, as her other five siblings had predeceased her. Moncy was a great chef, cooking huge meals every Sunday for her family, and a fantastic green thumb gardener who received several trillium awards from the city of Hamilton. She also loved animals and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels in her yard, even if she had to go out in the middle of a blizzard.

She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever hope for; she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
