Bonds, Marc (Marcy)

November 27, 1959 - May 8, 2024

Marc was taken by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to the mansion that was prepared for him in heaven on May 8, 2024. The place of his entrance to "Glory" was at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario. Marcy spent 64 years with us and brought joy into everyone's life he had crossed paths with. He is truly missed by his Wife, Robin (Robby) and his brother, sister, nieces and nephews in Welland, Ontario and Quebec.

Marcy loved the beach at Rock Point on Lake Erie, swimming and camping and eating ice cream. He proposed marriage to Robby on that very beach. He enjoyed drawing and painting artwork, photography, writing and oh yeah, "talking". We shared our mornings reading our bibles and saying our prayers at night no matter where we were. He said I love you to me every single day with a quick dance in the morning. His smile would set my heart on fire and make my heart sing. He was my lover, my husband, and my very best friend. On our Wedding Day his words to me were "WOW". We loved getting dressed up and going to church together on Sunday. We would shop for Sunday best dresses too! Our favorite movies we loved to watch together with our cats over and over were "Jesus of Nazareth, The Nativity Story and Ben Hur". His great sense of humor was well known to us all. He could always make me laugh even when I was having a difficult day.

I look forward to dancing with my Marcy and Jesus when I get to join them in Heaven. Marcy, whenever I see a Cardinal or Dove fly by I will remember all the great moments we shared together.

I want to say a very special thanks to all the staff of St. Peter's Hospital who took care of Marcy during his last days side of eternity. You all had put a smile in Marc's heart and on his face. All the staff went above and beyond to make sure all his needs and care were met to make his last days very comfortable.

Due to his illness, it prevented Marc from going to see Bill W and friends who were part of his life for 21 years.

A mass of family and a few friends will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Hamilton, 50 Brucedale Ave E, Hamilton,

ON L9A 1M8 on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 1:00PM. After the service, the family welcomes all to join in celebrating Marc's life, enjoy refreshments, and to share in his memories - please contact Robin at: rwalker53@gmail.com for location details and to RSVP.
