Lynn Walls

Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt sister, daughter and friend. She passed away peacefully on July 24 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 64.

Lynn was wife to Percy, mother to Andrea (Peter) and Brian (Kathleen), Stepmother to Tracy (Dennis) and Mike (Louise), grandmother to Emily, Annabelle, Benjamin, Collin, Nathan, Kelly, Jason, Riley and Noah, Aunt to Mallory (Michael), Michelle and Alexander, sister to Heather and friend to so many.

Lynn was born in September 1958 to William and Virginia Burgess in Digby Nova Scotia, grew up in Toronto, and raised her family in Hamilton. She spent many years as a dedicated Health Care professional at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton where she made many life-long friends who became family. Lynn was passionate about her many pets, her family and friends and could never resist an evening at the Casino! Lynn’s larger-than-life personality brought laughs to every room and you always knew exactly what she was thinking!

Lynn will be missed by many and her passing will have an impact of the lives of all who knew her.

We invite you to celebrate Lynn’s life with us on Friday August 4th for a Funeral Mass at 10am at Corpus Christi Church 1694 Upper James St Hamilton, followed by a Celebration of Life at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, 1520 Stone Church Rd E Hamilton.
