Lorne Walter Willard

The family of Lorne Walter Willard of Hamilton, Ontario, are sad to announce that he passed away peacefully on Monday April 7, 2025 surrounded by his friends and family.

He was born in Brantford, Ontario, on October 7, 1949, to George and Lona Willard

Lorne was married two times. His first marriage was to Connie whom he still remained great friends with throughout life. His second marriage was to Margaret who sadly predeceased him in 2017.

Lorne was predeceased by his parents and siblings Wayne Sharpe, Ben Willard, Larry Willard, and David Willard and his grandson Jake Willard.

He is survived by his sisters Judy Barnett, Lynda Willard and his brother Randy Willard.

Lorne is also survived by his two children Caryn Hicks and Jason Willard, and step children Jessica Page and Marcy Selway, as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Lorne had a long career of over 40 years as a long haul truck driver.

The family of Lorne Willard would like to thank the staff at Grace Villa for their excellent care and compassion, and Connie Willard who also helped care for Lorne in his final years.

Lorne was especially fond of his nurses Dawn and Jessie

There will be a visitation for friends and family who wish to pay their last respects

on April 17, 2025 at Marquis Gardens, Hamilton. 1050 Rymal Road East from 2-4 pm.
