Lisa Marie Mendolia (nee Jonathan)

March 2, 1960 - September 4, 2024

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Lisa Marie Mendolia on September 4th 2024 at the age of 64. We find comfort that Lisa was in the care of her family and surrounded by those she loved at the time of her passing. Predeceased by loving parents William Jonathan (Wimpy), Lois Taylor, and her brother Michael Jonathan. Survived by brother Dennis Jonathan, daughter Lacey Stevens and cherished sons Darren Rumsey, Mathew Mendolia and Tony Mendolia. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Larissa, Landyn, Tony, Mark, Michael and Brody. Lisa also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews, along with their children, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Lisa will be remembered for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh and kind heart.

Friends and family are welcome to join and share memories in a celebration of Lisa’s life during funeral visitation on Wednesday, September 11th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Marquis Gardens (1050 Rymal Rd. E., Hamilton ON). A second visitation to take place on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 12:00am to 1:00pm at Buchanan Park Free Methodist Church (204 Delmar Drive, Hamilton ON) followed by funeral service starting at 1:00pm. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery to follow funeral service.
