Linda (Lin) Susan McMaster nee Cranston June 13th 1949 - February 14th 2026

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt.

Lin was predeceased by her parents Alice and Archie Cranston, her brothers Art, Jim, John and Gary, sisters Dale, Bonnie and Judi. Left behind in tears are Lillian Cranston, Irene Geddes, Heather Phillips (Jack), Donna Flynn (John), Larry Cranston (Deb) and sister n law Sandy Cranston (Gary).

Lin was a favourite aunt to many but especially to Ken, Kevin, Ted, Mitchell, Ken, Tom, Bradley, Kim, Rob, Stephen, David, Shari, Bill, Rory, Andrea, Sean, Doug, Rebecca and Daniel. Lin was also blessed with many great, great-great nieces and nephews.

Lin was known in the Hamilton area for her work as a real estate agent and as an avid supporter for animal welfare. Over the years Lin had many beloved pets that enriched her life.

Special thanks to Larry and his wife Deb for the loving comfort and support they provided for Lin while residing at the Village of Wentworth Heights LTC and to the staff in the Stonechurch and Carrington neighbourhoods there.

Cremation has taken place now Lin’s kind and gentle soul can fly free.
