IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laurel Edith
Falcone
June 8, 1955 – December 25, 2025
Laurel Edith Falcone passed away peacefully with her family by her side following a courageous battle with ALS. Laurel was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering positivity.
Laurel devoted her life to her love of animals. She was the owner and operator of Posh Paws Professional Grooming and proudly served as President of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association, where her dedication, skill, and compassion left a lasting impact on both her profession and the many lives she touched.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—time at the cottage, horseback riding, and creating cherished memories with family and friends. Fun-loving and deeply caring, Laurel’s warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her.
Laurel is survived by her beloved husband, Mike; her children, Mike Jr. (Joey) and Joellen (Jason); her sister Judy (Bill); her sister-in-law, Jeanette; and her cherished granddaughter, Harlow. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Betty Copple, and her brothers, Jack and Ron.
Laurel’s spirit, love, and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at the McMaster ALS Clinic and to Laurel’s caregivers for their exceptional care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Canada are appreciated.
