Laura Ann Doan (neé Nelles)

The family of Laura “Laurie” Doan are heartbroken to announce her sudden and peaceful passing on September 9, 2026 at the young age of 62. Dearly missed by her husband Steve. Adoring and proud mom to Kyle and Adam. Loving sister to brothers Gary and Larry. Predeceased by parents Robert and Doris.

Special thanks to her extended family, and insurance family for their overwhelming love and support, especially to Donna and Ebony.

Laurie will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends, but her unconditional love and amazing memories will live on through the stories we share.

Mom, we are so proud and lucky to have the honour to call you our mom. The way you knew us inside and out and could inspire and support us to be great men is second to none. Your guidance and wisdom will be greatly missed. We hope to make you proud everyday as you watch over us.
