LAURA ANN HUBER

OCTOBER 1, 1963, Noranda, Quebec – DECEMBER 20, 2024, Oakville, Ontario

With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Laura Ann Huber, surrounded with love, family and friends. Adored and cherished with love by husband Robert. She left us with grace and dignity, with a clear mind, with light in her eyes, and a heart full of love. She is now resting in peace in Heaven.

Laura is survived by three brothers, nephews and nieces, and many loving cousins. Predeceased by older brother Willie and parents Heinrich and Sonya.

A great loss is felt by a wide circle of close friends and family. Laura’s keen mind and smiles and laughter will be missed by all and never forgotten. Her wit and humour would often show up in endearing nicknames for people. Among friends, she herself was known as the ‘Doe’. Her nickname in the Lefebvre Family was ‘Gravy Girl’, known for her culinary skills at Thanksgivings and Christmases.

We loved to travel and then to return home to the comfort of the garden and the sunroom. Laura’s love of music was infectious, her love of cooking was divine. Laura loved her cats, and would always laugh at her own jokes – both signs of a blessed soul.

We spent the last weeks always together, watching her favourite tv shows – Jeopardy, Match Game, classic black & white movies, and all of our favourite Christmas movies together.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
