Kimberley Ann Howard.

Affectionately known as "KIMMI" peacefully passed away at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on Monday, March 18, 2024. She was 68 years old in her 69th year. Kim is survived by her loving spouse Bruce Ransberry of more than 28 years. Kim was a loving and devoted mother to her son Stephan Robert David Ballok "Rob", along with his partner Lisa Semplonius. As well as Kim's two beautiful

granddaughters Christina and Natasha Ballok. Kim was the loving daughter to her mother Cecelia Colwell, as well as her father Norman Howard (deceased 2004) and her loving step father Richard Colwell (deceased 2024). Kim was a devoted and loving sister to Cherie Crawford, Robyn Moore (David), Tracy, Mark, Jay, Mathew Howard and Sarah Gasnier (Robin). Kim was also a loving step

sister to John, Rick, and Andrew Colwell.

Diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at the age of 18 as well as countless other diseases which she battled bravely many of her doctors would refer to Kim as a walking and talking medical dictionary, as well as a strong spirited woman who did not seem to want to give up. Those who truly knew Kim always said she had a heart of gold. Not to mention her inner strength when the going got tough.

As per Bruce's and the family's wishes, there will not be a viewing, but a cremation service will be performed. A celebration of Kim's life will be held in the near future.

Bruce as well as Kim's family wish to thank and acknowledge the Doctors and Nurses at Juravinski Hospital for the care Kim had received in her final days on earth. In lieu of flowers Bruce and Kim's family would appreciate donations to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.

Fly like an Eagle Kim. Soar into Heaven and know that you are loved by those whose lives you have touched.
