Kenneth James Whyte

Kenneth James Whyte passed on the morning of Sept 14th, with his loving wife Karen and sister Noreen Pidgeon (Harley) by his side. He passed peacefully in the lovely home of Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, where he was attended to night and day by the caring and supportive staff. Words cannot express our gratitude adequately for the hospice staff, the loving care provided by his visiting nurse Cassandra, and so many wonderful individuals who participated in his care. He is survived by his daughters Natasha Rae and Jasmine Paige, and brother Kevin Whyte (Linda). There will be a celebration of his life Saturday, Sept 18th, at the home of his youngest daughter. Ken will be fondly remembered by his friends, family, and anyone who listened to him long enough for him to tell a joke. He knew how to make an entrance and always had a story at the ready, never missing an opportunity to throw in a pun. His passions including anything to do with animals, raising cats, fishing, and creating beautiful spaces with his hands for innumerable clients. He loved music, wine touring, beer, and you could always find him in the kitchen, cooking up something delicious for anyone who stopped by. He will be missed dearly.
