June 5, 1942 – Nov. 17, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen June Shipton at Grace Villa Nursing Home in Hamilton after a long hard battle with dementia. Kathy was predeceased by her late husband Wayne and is survived by her children Karen, Lisa, Brian (Tammy) and beloved family members Gary and Dawn. Kathy was a cherished Nana to her grandchildren Cameron, Kate and Conner. She is at peace with her best friend Jade. A private cremation has taken place.

When I come to the end of the road

And the sun is set for me

I want no rites in a gloom filled room

Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little, but not too much,

And not with your head held low,

Remember the joy and laughter we shared

And lovingly, let me go.
