Karen Marie Mousseau (née Verwey), 72, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026. She was the daughter of Shirley and the late Bill Verwey sister of Michael (Jean) and the late Dianne. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Jodi (Joel), and proud grandmother to Ira and Peri. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews and their families and will be missed by her close friends Mike, Nola and Barb. Karen was an outgoing person who loved being surrounded by others. Her wonderful sense of humour brought much laughter to those around her and will be missed.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Baywoods Place Long-Term Care Home for the care and support they provided to Karen during her time there. A private family burial has been held.
