Joyce Winnifred Cadeau

1939 – 2022

Joyce Cadeau passed away peacefully and comfortably in her sleep at Emmanuel House, Hamilton on November 11, 2022, at 83 years of age. She was the loving mother of Michael (Tami) and the late Rosemarie. She was the proud Nanna of Cassandra (Adam) and Jessica (Alex) and great Nanna of 6. Sister of Paul (Ruth), Marilyn (and son David) and Leonard (Ardith).

Joyce was loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She will be fondly remembered by her many treasured friends, especially from the Good Shepherd and the Zonta Club.

Joyce was born in Port Colbourne and lived most of her life in north Burlington. She dedicated her life to the service of others. Joyce made it her mission to bring people together, and to create a legacy of memories, friendship and love.

A funeral Mass will be held on November 23, 2022 at 1pm at St. John’s Catholic Church in Waubaushene, followed by a gathering at Mom’s Restaurant in Midland.

Interment at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery will take place in the Spring of 2023 due to seasonal weather.
