To my Dearest husband,

You are in Jesus's arms now, free from this world. Taken far too soon, but you would not come back for an instant if we truly knew how beautiful Heaven is.

Thank you for 37 wonderful, fun, precious years together.

Thank you for devoting yourself to 10 years of teaching Bible Study at St. Patrick's church. I'm sure you can see now how many lives you have impacted through your devotion to God.

Thank you for being tough on the outside, but a big marshmallow at heart.

Thank you for being there in good and bad times. We navigated some tough waves but stayed the course.

Thank you for your wisdom. I have learned many things along the way from you.

Thank you for your patience, you had much more of it than I ever did.

Thank you for your wit and humour. You always had that comeback line that made me laugh so hard.

Thank you for sharing the same interests and hobbies with me. I will try and keep the garden going and keep track of any new birds that come into the yard.

Thank you for being a good sport whenever I would have crazy ideas and you would find a way to make them happen. My inspiration was always your perspiration.

Thank you for being my constant companion, my rock to lean on.

The only thing I wish is that we had more time. Rest now my dear, you ran your race and got your reward.

A funeral mass at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church will be said on Thursday, June 20 at 10AM, 120 Sherman Avenue N, Hamilton, ON L8L 6M6

A small reception will follow at St. Stanislaus church
