Joseph Daniel Golka

Joseph Daniel Golka of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on 08 July 2022 in his 80th year. He was born to parents Joseph Golka and Aline (nee Fournier), on 05 May 1942 in Timmins, Ontario.
An avid camper and lover of the outdoors, Joe instilled a love of nature into his family. Later in life, he often went portaging in Algonquin park with friends and his faithful dog Sandy. He loved to hike, dance, and listen to fiddle music. A skilled general contractor, he was always willing to help including volunteering for ALS, MS, and March of Dimes.
Joe is predeceased by his loving wife Liz (nee Ellis) and will be missed by children Joe III, Denise, Lori (John), Susan, Leslie( Kevin), Sharon(Mark) and Steve (Kim). Joe had 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of services, Joe's children ask that you raise as glass in his honour or make a donation to ALS.
