John Murray Quesnel

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John (Jack), on Thursday July 13, 2023, at St. Peters Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, in his 83rd year. Lovingly remembered by his daughter, Leanne and son in law Tony Walton, his youngest brother Norman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Parents Ola and Lorne Quesnel and siblings Marilou, Donna, Neil, Robert, Lorna, Lorne Jr, Charles and Dennis. John loved his time in the military, where he was also an accomplished amateur boxer, afterwards becoming a risk assessment advisor for several major companies. As a superintendent, John cherished the numerous long-term friendships he made with co-workers, tenants and neighbours.

John was an avid gardener and his beautiful garden was the talk of the neighborhood, an idyllic spot to stop for a chat and a treat for the dogs.

Keeping with John's wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
