John Blair Young

On Monday September 16 John Blair Young born August 14 1947 a husband to Deborah for 52 years, father of 3 Blair, Lisa, Brad, Papa to 4 grandchildren Cayden, Jayden, Gavin, Ava and one kindest and funniest man that most have ever met ran out of time on this earth. He will be missed by many more and his sense of humor and kind spirit has been felt and will live on through all of us!

John was a steel town boy through and through, worked 38 years at Stelco (local 1005), die hard Ti-Cats fan and of course the leafs. He had spent his retirement years working as a Commissioner at various places and enjoyed meeting and chatting with new people all the time and no doubt had brightened people’s day ever opportunity he had.

The family would like to say thank you to so many people that have reached out with there regards and to the teams at Jurvinski ICU, Affordable Burial & Cremation, White Chapel thank you so very much for being above and beyond with all your services.

The family has arranged a celebration of life at the Bedrock Bristo 260 Queenston Rd Hamilton, ON on Sunday, September 29th 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers mom has asked for donations to be made to the heart and stroke foundation. If you can please come by so we can all get to together and share a laugh and some stories to celebrate the wonderful man John Blair Young.

You worked so hard, cared with all your heart and carried so much! Now it’s your time to rest Dad. Love you
