Joan Ann Boily

Boily, Joan (nee Campbell) at 71 passed away peacefully at St Peter's Hospital on May 1, 2024. Joan was survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Gilles. She was a devoted mother to her son Gerry and his wife Candy. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Helen Campbell. Joan will be fondly remembered by her immediate family: Lillian (deceased), Donna (Gary, deceased), Helen (Ron), Shirley (Tony, deceased), Brenda (deceased), Vera (John, deceased), Earl (Irene, deceased), and Mel (Jill). Joan will be forever in the hearts of many nieces and nephews of both the Campbell and Boily families and many close friends, but especially by her God children Cherie and Chantal. Joan worked for the City of Hamilton for many years. One of Joan's favourite pastimes was hosting friends and family in her garage while socializing with them for hours and hours. Joan was a good woman who was well known for her friendliness, sense of humour and interest in all whom she met. Words can't express how much she will be missed by everyone. A very heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff at both Juravinski and St. Peter's Hospital for all of your care.
