After years of battling heart disease, Jimmy passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 27th, 2024.
Jimmy was born in Hamilton on January 1st, 1975.
He grew up playing hockey and golf, and as he grew older, he also found a love for music and dancing.
In adulthood he worked as a carpenter and painter, but his true passion was creating.
He put so much positive energy and creativity into whatever project he was working on until eventually — after he changed it a million times — it became a masterpiece.
He always lived in the moment, and if you were lucky enough to be in that moment with him it was the greatest feeling in the world.
If you really knew Jimmy, you knew how he only truly had room in his heart for his children.
He was always so proud of all their accomplishments and always had them on his mind.
Predeceased by his loving nana Gertrude Whitley, grandparents Austin & Ann Hamlin, parents Jim & Shelley Scott and Uncle Jay Whitley.
He is survived by his children Nicolas Savard and Jett and Ella Metaxas and brother Chad Scott.
He will be missed by many family and friends.
Private family cremation has taken place.
A true celebration of his life will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 5:00PM at Endzone Bar & Grill (1305 Main Street East, Hamilton ON) where all are welcome to come share in his memory together.
