Jean-Denis Poulin “Denis”, 86 yrs old, passed away on November 7th, 2024, at 86 years of age while at Macassa Lodge, Hamilton, Ontario. He was born on November 25, 1937, in Beauceville, Quebec. His wife, Helene (deceased), was his partner in every sense. They supported each other through life’s ups and downs and loved each other immensely. He was a father to his three children, Yvan, (Carolin), Ginette, (Guayven), and Marc (Kanata). He was a grandfather to Mélyna, Samuel, Paige, Eric, and Mallory and great grandfather to Owynn.

Denis, a retired Stelco employee, was the quintessential example of a dedicated hard worker. His work ethic was unparalleled as he often worked long hours to ensure the comfort and security of his beloved family. Denis’s commitment to his family extended beyond providing. As he mastered juggling long work hours, he was actively involved with his parish Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours, the French community, school runs, and always making sure he was there for every hockey, sport games and activities for his children. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Diabetes Canada Diabetic Society, honouring Denis's altruism.
