James William Harmer

February 26, 1958 - May 20, 2023

Jimmy passed away on Saturday May 20th. As Jimmy’s only remaining

sibling,I’m so grateful that my last gesture was to give him a hug and a

kiss and to tell him that I loved him as I was leaving him in his hospital

bed in the Hamilton General Hospital. Jimmy was very ill, but not

terminal. It was such a shock to get a call 3 hours later telling me that

he had passed away!

Jimmy is survived by sister Eva (Peter) Longhurst. Chosen brothers Vern

(Joy ) Arnold, and Russ (Milka) Arnold. Also mourning Jimmy’s loss is very

dear friend Cathy Lewis.

Jimmy was greeted in Heaven by parents Alvia and Harold Harmer, brothers

Glenn and David, and sister Karrie.
