Jacqueline Bradley

September 14, 1944 — February 2, 2024

A warrior to the very end, Jacqueline passed away with peace and dignity at St. Peter’s Hospital. Surrounded by family, she made one last joke to ensure they were smiling.

Jackie has finally reunited with the love of her life, Ron, after a long 17 years apart. As well as her parents Elsie and John, her stepfather Harvey, and her brother John Paul.

She leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Lisa, and son Daryll. A piece of them will always be missing. Jackie’s spirit will live on in their strength and love of family.

Jackie’s grandchildren each uniquely filled her heart. Chelsea, and special grandson-in-law Jason, will miss their trusted confidant and dancing queen. Jordan will forever remember the birthday serenades from an adoring grandma on the phone. Evan (Victoria) will miss the jokes shared with his number one fan.

The good times with Jackie will be remembered by all, including son-in-law Keith, sister Gerry (late George), sister-in-law Darlene, brother-in-law Allan, and very special friend Marge. Jackie cared for many, especially her dear mother-in-law Margaret (2021). A testament to Jackie’s nature, she had many life-long friends that became family.

Throughout the years, she became lovingly known as Jackson, Jack, Jack Attack, or Betty. Jackie loved shopping, bowling, and socializing. Always with family and friends, her best summers were spent at the trailer and her favourite winters were spent in Florida.

Jackie was a fiercely courageous woman. She persevered through many health trials and spoke openly about her struggles. In her last weeks, the staff of 3 East at St. Peter’s welcomed Jackie home with the utmost compassion. A sincere thank you to Samantha, Ardyn, Venice, Matthew, Lyndsey, and Dr. Nancy for giving Jackie the care and send-off that she so deserved.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the St. Peter’s Palliative Care Program

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and Jackie will rest with Ron. Loved ones will gather at a sunnier date to enjoy a laugh.

“Remember the good times. Bye for now.”
