Jack PEDLER. Born in Hamilton to Patricia Dion (nee Anderson) and Robert Edwin Pedler on October 7, 1953, Jack passed away at home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the age of 72. Predeceased by his parents, sister Adrienne Ireland, and musical brothers Georgie Fab and Paul R. K. Wheeler Jr., he is survived by his twin sister Joanne (Doug) Earle, brother David (Cathy), nephew Boak Ireland, brother-in-law Bruce Ireland, beloved friends too numerous to mention, and the Hamilton music community who held him so dear. Raised in a musical household, Jack began his musical career when he was in elementary school and kept the beat going until retiring from teaching several years ago due to ongoing medical issues. He played in hundreds of bands and dozens of recording sessions, rarely if ever turning down an opportunity to do what he loved and lived for. He was perhaps most proud of his pioneering solo recordings in the Uneasy Listening musical genre. An inspirationally positive and kind person, to know Jack was to love him. A celebration of Jack’s life will be announced in the new year.
