Ivan Sorensen

Sorensen, Ivan Passed away peacefully at home on June 15th, 2020 at the age of 71 after a short battle with lung cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Jytte and Arnie. Ivan is survived by his loving wife Brenda. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Karin(Mark),Kristen in England, step daughters Lynn, Lisa(Rob). Mofa will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Nick, Emma, Courtney, Laila, Jake, Melissa, Dylan, Bailey and great-grandson Cole. Survived by his brothers Donnie(Rochelle) and Alex(Chari). Deeply missed by many nieces and nephews, as well as all of his very close family members. Ivan worked in computers and the trucking industry for 25 years. Ivan had many hobbies over the years, he was a great history buff, loved golf; even taught lessons for a couple of years, loved Nascar, photography was his greatest passion in his later years and went hand in hand with his love of music where he gave much love and support to local musicians of Hamilton. I am truly overwhelmed with the amount of friends he made and the memories he gave to so many through photography too many to name but thankful for all of your kind words of support, love and respect. A very heartfelt thank you to his daughter Karin, and step daughters Lisa & Lynn, as well as Karisten for all of your support with his care.
