Hilda Owen

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our mom at Wentworth Lodge on April 25, 2025, at age 98. Now reunited with the love of her life, Geoff (pre-deceased 2023) married 74 years. Born in Bolton, England she married Geoff in 1949 and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Survived by daughters, Sue (Dave) and Debbie (Ken). Grandchildren, Tim (Amanda), Robyn (Darryl), Kevin (Lindsay), Kristy (Jesse), Rachel (Kris) and great-grandchildren, Michael (pre-deceased 2018), Elijah, Rowan, Easton and Prairie. Spending time with her family brought her immense joy. She was the energizer bunny, never stopping and always wanting to do more for you. Mom had many hobbies over the years but their passion was gardening, winning several Trillium awards. Mom was loving, warm, funny, always smiling and loved to sing. Her smile was made of sunshine and her heart was solid gold. We love and miss you mum. In her words: "See you later alligator”.
