In Loving Memory of Helen Anne Gensiorek

March 24, 1935 – June 24, 2025

With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Anne Gensiorek on

June 24, 2025, at the age of 90 at the Hamilton General Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on March 24, 1935, Helen graced the world with a generous heart, quiet strength,

and unwavering love.

She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness that will live on in the

hearts of those who knew her. Helen’s warmth, compassion, and resilience touched

every life she encountered. She was Auntie Helen to many.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Adolph (2008); her dear brothers

Joseph and William; and their spouses Mary and Marie.

Helen is lovingly remembered by her daughter Karen, son-in-law David, and many

nieces and nephews across Canada whose lives she brightened with her gentle

presence and caring spirit.

Cremation was entrusted to Affordable Burial and Cremation and has taken place. A

graveside service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00

am at Woodland Cemetery, 700 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Hamilton SPCA or Hamilton

Food Share, organizations close to Helen’s heart that reflect her compassion for

animals and her community.

Special thanks to the medical teams on 5 West and 8 West at the Hamilton General

Hospital for their attentive and heartfelt care during Helen’s hospitalization.

Mr. and Mrs. G are together again.
