Harry Lawrence Begley

December 20, 1932 - November 2, 2022

Sadly, we announce the peaceful passing of Harry Lawrence at Juravinski Hospital. Loving husband of 65 years to Clara (Petruccelli). Harry is reunited with his beloved son David and Mother Alice. Loving father to Nancy (Glenn, deceased), Janice (David) and Steven (Meaghan). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Allison (Mike), Megan (Thomas), Ben (Cassandra), Curtis (Megan), Natalie and Kyra. He loved his great grandchildren and will be greatly missed by William, Scarlett, Rory, Palmer, and Klara. Harry leaves behind his favourite sister Jane Petkoff (Peter, deceased) and is predeceased by his brothers and sisters in law, Tom (Vi), Billy and Joe (Doris). He was loved by his many sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

Harry was born and raised in the North End of Hamilton where he was a proud “North Ender”. He worked for 40 years at Canadian Liquid Air and enjoyed 23 beautiful years of retirement in West Palm Beach Florida, where he made many long-time friends who he cherished dearly. Harry enjoyed playing cards, golf and “puttering around” outside. He will be missed by his many card friends, golf friends and neighbours.

Harry will be remembered by his kind warm hearted ways and his smile.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Resurrection Catholic Cemeteries, 254 Garner Road West, Ancaster, beginning at 9:45am on Saturday November 12, 2022.
