Harm "Harry" Wiersma

Called out from his earthly suffering with his wife by his side, the Lord peacefully brought home His child Harry (Harm) Wiersma on Monday, April 29, 2024. Born May 20th, 1947 in Diever, Netherlands, Harry was the beloved husband of 53 years to Thea Wiersma (nee Vyn). Much loved father to Jennifer, Elaine (Harvey), Mary-Ann Meyer (Dave), Christina D'Angelo (Greg). Cherished Grandpa (Gramps) to Jessica, Jordan, Justin, Brandon, Kaelyn, Gabriel, Evelyn, Paige, Chloe, Anneliese and Lucas; and Great Grandfather to several. A private family burial will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton, on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. with reception immediately following.

A thank-you to the medical teams who cared for him along his journey, particularly the home care nurses at VON. A special thank-you to Ingrid.
