It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gwendolynn at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in her 73rd year. Loving sister, aunt and second mother to many. Gwendolynn was an avid writer, family historian and an accountant by trade. She will be missed by many with her wonderful stories from the past. A true earth angel. Predeceased by her husband Robert McDermid her parents Madeline (Baker) Ambrose, William Ambrose, Brothers William (Bill), James (Pat), Douglas Ambrose , sisters Julia McMillan , Caroline Logue ( nee Ambrose) Survived by her sister Delores ( Laurie) Caputo ( Ambrose ) , Brother Bob Weatherston.

Celebration of life will be held at the Smithville United Church Located at 116 West Street, Smithville Ontario on Sat December 14th 2024 from 10 am - 2 pm . In Her honor Potluck brunch, fellowship , sharing of memories. A short service to commence at 1 pm
