Dave Couchman
July 5, 1947 – May 9, 2023
We lost a wonderful man this week. Dave Couchman left us on Tuesday May 9th, just a few months short of his 76th birthday. There is no need to go into the details of the event, just know that he is now at peace. A private internment will take place.
We know that he has found a horse to ride and a campfire at the end of the ride to enjoy a drink. His hat low on his brow covering the twinkle in his eyes. He has found his family and friends that have gone before him and is sharing his amazing life with them all.
Please join us to celebrate a loving Husband, Dad, Papa, GP (Great Papa), Brother, Son, Uncle and Friend. In keeping with Dave’s love of all things cowboy don’t feel the need to dress up, wear a cowboy hat if you have one, jeans and boots if you have those too! He was always most comfortable around a campfire sharing stories, drinks and laughs….you can’t do that all dressed up now can ya!
He had a full life filled with love, family and friends. If you were thinking of donating to a charity or sending flowers in honour of Dave know that we would rather you take the money and go out for dinner, make a memory because in the end memories are what carry us through these times.
The celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Saturday May 13th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at
86 Hester Street, Hamilton, Ontario. Please feel free to stop by and share a story about Dave, we know there are many given how loved he was.
