Frederick Douglas

August 8, 1942- November 23, 2025

Frederick David Douglas 

Peacefully passed away at age 83 in Hamilton Ontario. 

Predeceased by his wife Donna Douglas. Will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Rita Lori Douglas, grandchildren Michael and Austin Douglas and Amanda Gill (nee: Douglas) and grandson Matthew, and bonus granddaughter Crystal Smith and her children- Christian, Cassidy, Caden.

Originally from Monetville Ontario, Fred resided in Dundas and Hamilton and made many friends along the way. He came from a large family of 9, and is survived by sister Anne Schell and twin brother Frank Douglas, and many nieces and nephews.

We will miss his spirited, sassy, joking and always honest personality. He was a simple man who loved to watch wrestling and chat with anyone who stopped by about the old days. He drove truck mostly and worked for Strubs Pickles and other companies along the way. 

Fred is to be cremated and buried with his family in a cemetery in Monetville. Thank you to Grace Villa (Hamilton) for all your care.
