Holmes, Frank Edward. Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his loving partner of 42 years, Sharon Leahy (April 3, 2019). Survived by his sons Michael (Cathy) and Kevin (Cindy). Stepchildren Kim (Mike) and Jim. Sisters Mary (Gord) and Lynn (Bob). Special Papa to Sara. Loved Papa to 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by stepson Kelly (Buni), parents George and Beatrice, sisters Midge (Bill), Isabel (Bob), Cheryl (Tony) and brother Jim (Betty).

Frank was a former employee of The Hamilton Spectator for many years. He loved sports, and was an avid fan of the Leafs, Jays and Tiger Cats.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Junaid for his care. Arrangements have been entrusted to Affordable Burial and Cremation. Cremation has taken place. Online condolences may be made at www.affordableburialandcremation.ca.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday April 15th from 2 to 4 at the Dundas Legion, 280 King St W, Dundas.
