With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Fitzgeorge Archer

at Juravinski Hospital on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the age of 73.

Fitzgeorge, affectionately known as George, brought immense joy as a

father to Dionne (Trevor) and Tania (Peter) and was a treasured

grandfather to Oscean, Alexis, Xavier, and Autumn. Preceded in death by

his mother Velvetine, step-father Welsey, and younger brother Errol,

Fitzgeorge will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his brothers

Dudley, Peter, Neville, Derek, and Michael. His ex-spouse Rose, along with

numerous nieces, nephews, and god-children, will forever cherish his

memory. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends in

Hamilton, Ottawa, Vancouver, London, Mississauga, Boston, New Jersey,

and beyond.

Inseparable from his cherished Shizu, Lady, Fitzgeorge leaves behind a

void that will be deeply felt.

George will be fondly remembered for his passion for family and friends,

leaving behind a legacy of laughter and smiles. His sense of humor, love

for music, and appreciation for the great outdoors have left an indelible

mark on those who knew him.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional ICU teams at

Juravinski Hospital, as well as the compassionate nurses and dedicated

home care aides who provided unwavering support and care throughout

the years. Fitzgeorge's spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of all

who were fortunate enough to share in his warmth and love.

Cremation Services will be performed by Affordable Burial and Cremation.
