Elizabeth Jane Sheasby

Sheasby, Elizabeth Jane (Liz) (nee Belanger)

Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, in
Hamilton at the age of 75. Lovingly remembered by her husband of
57 years, Robert (Bob) Sheasby and son, David Sheasby (Janina) and
daughter Jennifer Romano (Rocco). Including much loved
grandchildren Rowan, Nathan & Geneva Sheasby.

Liz was known for her unparalleled hospitality. She welcomed all into
her home and would make sure that they have a glass in one hand
and a homemade canapé in the other and a place to belong. She was
honest, generous, funny, fearless and deeply loyal. She made
ordinary moments sparkle. We will deeply miss her.

A public visitation will be held on June 6th from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 648 Limeridge Road East,
Hamilton, Ontario. A private family service will take place later.
