Passed away peacefully at Heritage Green Nursing Home on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 85.

 Elizabeth Salvo (nee Haider) was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Salvo and a devoted mother to Lisa LoPresti and Angela Bettiol. She was a proud and loving Oma to Mary Stringer (Shawn), Patricia Zolis (Steven), and Matthew Bettiol (Caroline), and found immense joy in her
cherished great-grandchildren: Troy, Sage, Brooke, Vivienne, Evelyn, Ben, and Dylan. She will also be deeply missed by her dear sister, Brigitta Sbarra (the late Nick), her sister-in-law,
the late Caterina and Jimmy Gagliardo, and her beloved nieces and nephews: Gary, Carol, Christine, Rose, and Nick.
She will also be lovingly remembered and missed by her many extended family members and dear friends.

 Born in Steyr, Austria, on March 10, 1941, Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of the late Anna (nee Daspelgruber) and Joe Ebner. She carried her Austrian roots with pride while immigrating to Canada as a teenager
and building a beautiful life in Hamilton, Ontario, centred around family, love, and creating lasting memories.

 Elizabeth had an adventurous spirit and a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places and embrace life's experiences. She had an unmistakable sense of style and elegance, taking pride in every detail - from her perfectly styled hair to her beautifully manicured nails. She had a remarkable presence that
naturally turned heads whenever she entered a room, carrying herself with grace, confidence, and class.
Above all else, her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.

 The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Heritage Green Nursing Home for the exceptional care and kindness they
provided to Elizabeth during her difficult dementia journey.

 All are welcome to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 620 Rymal Road East, Hamilton.
A private visitation has already taken place.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton,
or St. Joseph's Hamilton, in Elizabeth's memory.
