Elizabeth Patricia Berryman

December 10th 1923 - October 29th 2026

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth “Pat” Berryman in her 103rd year on October 29th 2026 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville, Ontario. Predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Laurence Berryman and her dearly loved daughter, Colleen Keizer. Much adored grandma of Michelle Templeton (Craig) and Anita Keizer. Treasured mother-in-law of John Keizer. Cherished great-grandma of Stephen and Michael Templeton. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson John, her sisters Marion Bird and Lenore Bird as well as her brothers and sisters-in-laws from the Berryman clan.

Pat was born in Hamilton and later moved to Winslow where she lived for almost 70 years. She was an avid gardener, an excellent cook, loved animals big and small and took a keen interest in the natural world. Most importantly, she cherished her friends and family. Pat will be remembered for her sharp wit, selflessness and generosity. We were blessed to have such a fun, loving and patient grandma for so many years.

Our family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the HWMH for the kindness and thoughtful attention that truly enriched the last years of Pat’s life. The care she received was an immeasurable contributor to her reaching such a great age.

To honour Pat, we encourage everyone to embrace the joy of simplicity and above all, enjoy the laughter. We will think of you Gram, when we hear the birds sing.
