Elizabeth Jane Turville

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Turville (nee Hornby) on September 21, 2024, in her 85th year.

Predeceased by her devoted husband of 58 years, Philip, and their sons, David and Allan. Left to cherish Betty's memories are her three daughters, Lynn (Perry), Lori (Alex), Cindy (Shayne), and daughter in-law, Kathy.

Betty will also be missed by her grandchildren, Alyssa, Brett (Rachael), Philip (Rachel), Neil, Corson (Sarah), Madeleine, Camille, Lyam, and Emilee (Rayin) and great-grandchildren, Adaline and Izaiah.

Betty was a medical secretary for over 30 years. She loved traveling, knitting, playing cards and going to the theatre. Mom's home was always warm and welcoming. She cherished her friendships, whether from childhood or made recently.

Against her wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 5th. In accordance with her wishes (because we told her we would have one anyway) the celebration will be held at Erskine Church, 19 Pearl Street North, where she was a life long member. Visitation will take place 10-11:30 a.m. Service at 11:30. Luncheon to follow. Please do not wear black.
