It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Eldon Brooks. After courageously battling health concerns, Eldon passed away peacefully on Friday December 1st, 2023.

Loving husband to Gloria for 57 years. Devoted father to Susan (Torrie) and John and proud Papa to Trey and Terrell. Brother to Allan, Robert(Qi}, and predeceased by his sister Patricia.Brother-in-law to Bob and Betty Beck and Laura Brooks. Friend and honourary brother to Charlie. Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

After 35 years of employment at Stelco Eldon enjoyed over 20 years of retirement spending summers at Elim Lodge, going on adventures with Gloria, attending Nascar Races, involved in many capacities at Harmony Baptist Church and being a "Butter Tart Aficionado".

Eldon was a proud Papa and loved spending time with his grandsons' playing games, watching planes at the Hamilton Airport, going for bike rides and playing crokinole. He was an avid fisherman and was very happy to teach his children and grandchildren how to fish.

Eldon had a great sense of humour and a positive outlook on life. He loved people and made friends everywhere he went. To know Eldon was to love him. We will miss him greatly.

Eldon had a strong faith and was ready to go to Heaven.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday December 16th, 2023 at Harmony Baptist Church, 1763 Upper James St. Hamilton. Visitation 1pm-2pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2pm

We would like to thank the staff at St Joseph's Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of Flowers, donations to Harmony Baptist Church or Elim Lodge Christian Conference Centre would be appreciated by the family.
