It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Elaine Laura Johnston (Hughes)

Elaine peacefully passed away on September 20, 2025 at St. Peter's hospital in Hamilton. in her 72 year.

She will be deeply missed by all that were touched by her love and kindness over the years. She always provided a safe space, for those in need of comfort, good advice or simply a hot cup of tea..

Elaine leaves behind her husband Gerry Johnston of 35yrs. her two children Kandy (Dale), Ryan. She was the amazing grandmother of Shane, Bree-Lynn, Chloe, Isabella, Alannah, Jonni-Lynn, Rylee and Mason, and Great Grandmother of Armani and Olive. She also leaves behind her fur baby Sid. and many family and friends.

At Elaine's request no formal service will be held.
