Douglas Vincent Ferguson

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Doug on June 14, 2022 at Juravinski Hospital.  Doug was the son of the late Marion. He will be deeply missed by brothers Dan and Ron (Andrea) and loving partner Barb (Kankowski).

Doug was a lift-truck mechanic at JH Ryder Machinery for 38 years.  He was an avid fisherman, a skilled and creative problem-solver and lover of music especially Jethro Tull.  Doug will be remembered for his willingness to help others, his unique sense of humor and his fondness for cats.

If desired, donations to "Interval House" (intervalhousehamilton.org); OVC Pet Trust” at the University of Guelph (pettrust.ca) or the “Heart and Stroke Foundation” (heartandstroke.ca) would be welcomed.
