Dorothy Eleanor Jackson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Eleanor Jackson who passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital just 3 days after celebrating her 92nd birthday on Sunday September 11th,2022.

Dorothy was born on September 8,1930 in Montreal and was married to Thomas Frederick Jackson in 1949 after his return from the second World war. They raised 3 children in Montreal before moving to Georgetown Ontario where Tom passed away at age of 63 in 1988.

Dorothy then moved to the villages of Glancaster in Ancaster where she loved living and remained active and independent until her sudden passing last week.

During her life Dorothy had many interest and hobbies enjoying travelling, bowling, swimming, oil painting and sewing. She is fondly remembered for her sharp mind, organization abilities, quick wit and most importantly for her love of her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and many friends.

Dorothy will be sadly missed by all those who knew her during her long and active life.

Sadly missed by her Sister Dawn Leake and her family in Texas.

Beloved Mother of Pamela(David), Steven and Susan.

Loving Grandmother of Anthony(Karen), Graeme(Andrea), Alexandra(Chris), Vanessa(Trevor), Maxwell, Thomas(Nicole), Daniel(Rebecca) and Tamara and Phillip.

Loving Greatmother to 11 Beautiful great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will take place at the Villages of Glancaster on Sunday October 23rd 2022
