Edwards Dorothy Melissa (Truelove)

1923-2025

Dorothy, an amazing and wonderful lady passed peacefully at the age of 102 on October 18, 2025 at Margaret's Place Hospice in Dundas. 

Born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan she moved to Hamilton as a young child. Dorothy was the eldest of 8 children. She was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Melissa Truelove, son Douglas, sisters - Ethel, Shirley, Bonnie; brothers – Lloyd, George, Lawrence. Dorothy is survived and will be dearly missed by her children Ken (Lana), Darlene (Jerry Brinker), Ron(Julie), Gary (Wendy), 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, brother Gordon Truelove, sister-in-law Cynthia Truelove and many nieces and nephews who all loved her very much. 

She touched countless lives with warmth and kindness leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts of all that knew her.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will take place November 14, 2025 from 1:30-3:30 at the Royal Canadian Legion 435 Limeridge Rd East Hamilton.
