Donald James Hopkins

Donald James Hopkins June 8, 1947-April 11, 2022 Suddenly but peacefully at the Hamilton General CCU surrounded by his brothers John and Ed and devoted wife Lila, Don passed away in his 75th year. He will forever be missed by loving wife Lila, brothers John (Charlotte), Ed (Joann), daughters Patricia (Andrew), Kim (Rick), grandchildren Randy, Matthew, Bryan, Patrick, Samantha, Cole, thirteen great grandchildren, sisters in law Linda (David), Evelyn, Brenda, Marlene (David) and Mary. Also missing him will be his many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He is also predeceased by his loving parents, Thomas and Viola Hopkins. Don was a proud member of local 853 for 58 years. A graveside service will be held on April 23, 2022 at 10:30 am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, ON, L7T 1J1. Following the interment there will be a celebration of life at the home of Bob and Lynda McDougall.
