Donald Dumont

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald Dumont on Saturday August 19 2023. He was in his 81st year,cremation has already taken place.

Surrounded by his loving family Don passed away peacefully in his sleep under the excellent care at St Joseph's ICU

Predeceased by the love of his life Denise Dumont, he was a loving father to his two daughters Sylvie Hicks (Ron) Louise Jessome (Brian) and a grandfather (pepere) to his three grandsons Geoff Hicks (Emily) Kyle Dumont McArthur and Evan Jessome. He was a great grandfather to Addison Hicks.

He was one of seven children growing up on the family farm in Quebec. He was a proud member of the local 776 Iron workers union,which awarded him the means to raise his family.

Don was a straight to the point kind of guy that afforded everyone that met him to see that he was a great guy,a little stubborn but would give you the shirt off his back.
