Domenic Allega

Hamilton, Ontario - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Domenic Allega aged 65 following a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Domenic was predeceased by his beloved parents, Paolo and Silvia Allega. He will be profoundly missed by his sister, Francesca Smith (Ed), his nephew David, and his niece Daniela Pullia (Domenic).

Domenic dedicated his life's work to the field of mental health, where he tirelessly championed greater awareness, compassion, and understanding. His unwavering commitment touched countless lives and left a meaningful and lasting impact on his community and colleagues.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Domenic deeply cherished his extended family, friends, and coworkers. He will be remembered for his warmth, integrity, and steadfast support for those around him.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Naz DiLeo for his steady support and kindness during this difficult time.

In accordance with Domenic's wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
