Diana Lynn Babineau

Diana Lynn Babineau, aged 73, passed away peacefully at home in Hamilton on November 12, 2024. Born on December 13, 1950, She was loving, caring, and defiantly a fighter. We thank all doctors who have cared for Diana over the years.

She spent the last few months with many family and friends laughing and sharing memories. She is finally without pain and free to walk with the lord.

Diana dedicated many years of service to Hamilton Health Sciences before her retirement. Her commitment to her work was deeply appreciated by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Edwin, with whom she recently celebrated 53 years of marriage. Diana was a loving mother to her daughters Christina and Denise, her favorite son-in-law Jeremy, and cherished her grandchildren Kennedi, Rexton (Julea), and Jemal. Her siblings Sharon (Jack), Ron, and John, as well as many nieces and nephews, will be greatly missed by her best friend Cathy Rolph. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Joyce McDonald.

A celebration of life will be held at 66 Donnici Drive in Hamilton on November 23, 2024, from 3 till 5:30 pm.

Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society, organizations that were close to her heart.
